This electric model is an adaptation of the weissenborn. The goal was to keep the spirit of the vintage weissenborn while making a modern instrument. The body is made of African mahogany chambered, the top in koa. The fretboard in koa offers the same mother-of-pearl inlays as the style 4. The shape of the head and the bridge have been preserved as on the originals. The handwired pickups offer a wide range of sounds: beautiful clean sounds with lots of presence, including light crunch / overdrive, and the bridge pickup is great for overdrive/distorsion sounds with a big output level.
